I was hired to build a label for Devil’s Canyon Brewery’s new product, Chaco Stout. This absolutely delicious red chile and chocolate stout, using TCHO Chocolate (from S.F.), was unveiled at the 2015 SF Beer Week Craft Can Invitational. It’s has a great chocolate taste and just a hint of spice.

The owner & brewer of Devil’sCanyon was inspired by that and asking for all things spice, fire, chocolate and chilies. So, It was a no-brainer to go with a fun take on that. Something sacred and something approachable. We could have gone too hard in the direction of “FIRE”,  and “SPICE” but it wouldn’t represent this balanced flavor well.
