Datacor Rebrand Project

A new project to showcase. Datacor, a manufacturing software company, reached out to me to help launch several rebranding projects.

Here’s the age-old rebrand story. So, your company needs a rebrand. You hire an agency and receive a new corporate rebrand, complete with a lovely brand style guide, possibly a website, and some new creative templates.

So, what’s next? Now you need to follow through on everything else to launch a rebrand. That’s when Datacor reached out to me for various communication and marketing needs, including website creatives, event projects, email marketing, presentations, customer communication, and internal brand projects. Check it out.

Datacor rebrand project

There was a lot to accomplish…

Launching a rebrand requires a significant investment of resources, including creativity, time, and mental energy. It can be overwhelming due to the number of things to build and launch. Here’s a breakdown of what was accomplished.

Email templates

I redesigned their HubSpot email templates to give a fresh, clean look for all their communications. I organized the main points into clear sections and added clearer call to actions for several modular email templates.

Presentation templates

New presentation templates and sales decks were introduced company-wide. The brand system was already in place and easy to work with. As a result, building the organizational needs for the presentation was quite efficient.

Website assets & illustrations

Developed high-quality product screen visuals for the new Datacor website. During website rebranding, several visual elements are typically requested. I created dozens of abstract illustrations to represent Datacor’s range of products. Making screenshots interesting again.

Event brand & identity

A new brand and design system was developed for events, booths, and signage. The company required a templated approach to efficiently expand their event creatives, ensuring the design could adapt from small signage to larger branded booth spaces.

Social & Internal Brand projects

Create new branded materials for their social channels, including banners and template designs for future growth. All other brand assets are also required, such as new business cards, office signage, and branded elements. Lastly, don’t forget that internally branded and culture-boosting swag is included too. Who doesn’t love swag!

We're very social.

Not “Influencer” social,.. but social enough.

Idea Circus Is The Complete Package
That’s a dumb joke about brand & packaging design, but I wanted to introduce some new design initiatives for this studio, which caters to the wine, spirits, and cannabis industries.

Hey Marketing Nerds… I made a Brand Funnel.

Hey Marketing Nerds… I made a Creative Brand Funnel.

There are all kinds of funnels. Funnels for your oil. Funnel cake, and then there are Marketing funnels. Why funnels? Product and Marketing have silly names for ecosystems and tech stacks. “Marketecture” should also be included in the silly category of Marketing speak. But that’s another blog post entirely.
